I’m applying to Phillips Exeter Academy soon, and part of my application requires an interview. To practice, could you tell me the questions that might be frequently asked? Even if its another private school you applied to, or you just know, I just would like to know a overview of what might be asked? Please help?
Look at my posts for some info on questions, writing a resume so your teachers can write up a great recommendation, etc. Click on the links in the post:

Typically they will ask you only a few questions and it will be much more casual than you think. Make it conversational. My son spent most of one interview chatting about his favorite video game at a very rigorous school (twice the percentage of National Merit Finalists than at Exeter). So take the conversation in the direction it’s going and don’t be surprised if it’s not all serious. They just want to get a sense of you. Be sure to ask at least one question.
Make sure to really study for the SSAT. Some schools tell you it isn’t necessary, but your competition will be studying and may be tutored, even if they keep it quiet.
Good luck!
A job in the area of business (management, marketing) if that makes a difference.
What are the most successful answers for these questions?
Better yet, where may I find some (real…not staged) videos of (successful) interviews? Successful as for "You are hired".

Finding a job in these tough times can be challenging. Job hunting can be a stressful thing to do. Fear of “failing the interview” is quite common. You do everything you can to prepare, but what about those tough interview questions?
Tough interview questions?
Sample Job Interview Question
“Tell Me about Yourself”?
First of all is the question “Tell Me about Yourself”? This is a hard one because there are many answers. Don’t talk about your hobbies and family. Use this as a chance to discuss your experience and accomplishments. Take care to talk about things that are relevant to the position you are applying for.

“Why Should I Hire You”?
Another big question always asked is “Why Should I Hire You”? Don’t be afraid to be boastful here, but respectfully so. Show your credence in yourself and what you can offer the company. A job interview is competitive and gives you the chance to showcase your talents. Tell your prospective employer about what makes you better than the many other competitors. How can you add value to the company to support them to achieve their goals?
Sample Job Interview Question
“What is Your Greatest Weakness”?
And then there is always “What is Your Greatest Weakness”? This is the question that might very well be the hardest to answer. The biggest mistake that most people make is taking a positive aspect and trying to turn it into a weakness. For example, taking your job too seriously is not a weakness and turning it around to look like a weakness defeats the reason for the question.
Honesty builds “TRUST”
Be forthright about what you perceive as a weakness and how you are addressing it and trying to conquer this weakness. Answering this question in a forthright manner shows willingness to grow and what company doesn’t want an honest person as part of the team.
Sample Job Interview Question
“Are You a Team Player”?
And then the question is “Are You a Team Player”? This question is often viewed as a simple yes or no question. The obvious answer is yes prepare some passionate examples of how being a team player has made you successful. Discuss how working as part of a team with others has helped you in work or school. This question often leads to questions about how you deal with conflict and resolution in the workplace, so be prepared for that.
Sample Job Interview Question
“How Do You Handle Conflict with a Supervisor”?
And finally, “How Do You Handle Conflict with a Supervisor”? This is always a tough question to answer. The most obvious tactic is to avoid any conflict but this is also the chance to showcase your coping skills. Discuss having a constructive conversation with your supervisor. Perhaps the most important thing that your prospective employer may be looking for is that you will always be respectful and not cause a scene.
Be prepared with a simple conflict resolution strategy, one that fits with your personality.
Have an example of a conflict and how you resolved the situation and what was the outcome.

I know my question is kind of broad but I have a job interview for a call center and I was told to be ready to answer some questions on how to deal with certain situations when dealing with clients. If anyone has been through this especially blue sheild, I would appreciate some advise and examples of what they ask.
These are the most important questions the employer will ask:
1. Are you familiar with our company? Your answer has to be "yes". Tell them that you did a little research about them (and actually do it). You should be able to tell them a couple of things about the company like, what they do, their mission, some of their popular locations, etc. By doing this, you are letting the employer know that this is not just another job interview for you because you actually have interest in them. (Most employers are aware that job seekers submit their resumes to countless open positions without keeping track of what companies they have applied to.)
2. If offered a position, when can you start? If you are currently unemployed, then you can start anytime. But if you are currently working, tell them that you would like to give your current employer at least 2 weeks notice, but it is not required. By saying this, you are letting the interviewer know that you have the common sense and courtesy to not quit without notice, and you are letting them know that if they need you to start right away, you can, but you would prefer not to leave your current employer in a tough situation.
Also, be prepared to give detailed answers about your past experiences, why you’re looking for another job, where you want to be in 5 or 10 years, etc.
Dont be nervous. Act as if your employer is on the same level as you, but still be professional. The interviewer is in a learning experience just like you. Also keep in mind that as much as you are trying to impress them, it is their job to impress you as well, so that you will leave the interview with more interest in the job.
